Today was such a wholesome surprise. I celebrated my birthday at Jollibee with my friends, and I swear the whole day felt like a warm hug. I thought it was going to be just a simple meal together—nothing fancy, nothing planned. But they had something else in mind.
When I walked in, they were already there, smiling in that mischievous “we did something” way. Before I could even sit down, they started singing, loud and totally off-tune, but it made me laugh so hard. And then—surprise. A cake I wasn’t expecting, little decorations they snuck in, and even a cute birthday hat they insisted I wear.
We ate chicken, fries, spaghetti, and laughed at jokes that probably weren’t even that funny, but somehow felt perfect in the moment. Their effort touched me more than I expected. It wasn’t about the place or the food—it was the thought, the planning, the love behind it. I felt genuinely special, like I was surrounded by people who truly cared about me.
